In the heart of the industrual crumble of the williamsburg water front lies a treehouse like loft, built entirely from scavenged supplies and reclaimed materials. It was stripped of its original infrastrucutre and entirely rebuilt - from the ground up. This process led to somewhat of an homage to a simpler kind of city-dwelling. Each bedroom, table, shelf, and drawer serves became a multifunctinal surface. And as its inhabitants came to change their own lives, the space began to accomodate their needs. Suddenly a work bench became a bar, and a bedframe doubled as a dresser. Even a door became a drawbridge.
How dramatic does THIS sound!

Wow, Williamsburg. Sounds cool. But isn't it, like, all investment bankers there now?
